Quick Smiles:

  • Jack, age 9, collects hundreds of teddy bears for hospitalized children.
  • He hopes each bear brings comfort and courage to kids at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
  • Community support pours in to help Jack reach his goal of 500 bears.

Jack, a caring 9-year-old from central Ohio, has transformed his home into “Teddy Bear HQ,” gathering plush toys to spread happiness.

With the launch of Jack’s Bravery Bears, he plans to donate every bear to young patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital this holiday season.

He first got the idea after volunteering with his family last year making blankets for kids at the hospital.

Inspired by his experience, Jack collected 445 teddy bears in his initial drive and set a new target of 500 bears this year.

Community members, from neighbors to classmates, have rallied to help Jack’s heartfelt project flourish.

“They’re going to be so happy,” he said with a smile.
