  • Maureen McCormick and Christine Taylor looked nearly identical decades after playing the same iconic character
  • Fans called the long-awaited reunion “pure joy” and “one of the best photos of all time”

It’s always “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!” for Brady Bunch fans… or at least “Marcia, Marcia!” Christine Taylor and Maureen McCormick got together this week.

To mark the occasion, they snapped a picture—and generations of Brady Bunch super fans could hardly contain themselves. In the picture, the two posed for a close-up selfie—and they still look nearly identical.

“Marcia! Marcia! Marcia’s!” reads the caption, written and posted by Maureen.

“It’s a Sunshine Day. My heart is so full! I love and adore you. xoxo.”

Maureen and Christine both played the eldest daughter of the Brady bunch during the franchise’s nearly 3 decades. Maureen starred as the original Marcia when the classic TV series debuted in 1969, and stayed with the character through spinoffs and movies until 1993.

Christine Taylor picked up the character in 1995 for the spoof titled The Brady Bunch Movie and finished her short-lived reign as the teen idol the following year in A Very Brady Sequel.

Fans Love the Full Circle Moment

In the comments, fans were loving the unexpected hit of nostalgia.

“I felt a shift in the air pressure, and now realize that the meeting of the Marcias has put a correction in the cosmic alignment,” actor George Hahn wrote in the comments.

“Well done.”

“It’s too bad the Oscars did not have a Best Casting category back in 1995,” a fan wrote.

“Deborah Aquila would have won for casting Christine Taylor alone.”

“SURE JAN IM CRYINGGG!!!” someone gushed.

“This is one of the best photos of ALL time!”

And even Christine Taylor joined the comments to share how epic the day was.

“A far too long overdue meeting of the Marcias!” she wrote.

“It was pure joy, my fellow Leo! I love you dearly, and until the next time, we’re gonna Keep On Groovin’.”
