Caring for others is a wonderful trait. A kind 9-year-old boy did just that by transforming the life of a newborn kitten.

João Corazza from Paraná, Brazil knew that his neighbors’ cat had a litter of kittens, born only weeks earlier, so he visited them to see the baby animals. He was really excited to see them, imagining how cute they all are.

Upon seeing them,  João noticed that one of the kittens was unable to play with her siblings. He realized that she is disabled and it broke his heart.

He cannot stop thinking about the little kitten so he thought of a plan on how he could help her.

Using materials he asked from a friend, João decided to build the cute kitten a tiny custom wheelchair. He was so thrilled when he finished it and even happier when he saw the disabled kitten roll with the new set of wheels within minutes of getting her set up.

His mother, Rogéria Bello Corazza, was touched by her son’s kind gesture so she shared the story to social media.

“João saw a kitten that couldn’t walk,” his mother wrote on Facebook. “He was very sad to see the other kittens playing, and that she couldn’t join them.”

She also uploaded a touching video of the kitten trying out her wheelchair for the first time. The video has since gone viral and has already been shared thousands of times and has more than 3 million views.

“I’m very proud of my children, but today was far beyond,” Rogéria wrote. “His joy of being able to help was the best part.”
