Dax Shepard earned himself some super-dad points on Thursday when he gave himself a matching haircut with his daughter.
The actor shared a video of himself using electric clippers to create an undercut.
He wrote “Armor” in the caption, adding that singer Sara Bareilles gave his daughters “an anthem.”
It turns out that Sara Bareilles’ song inspired his little girls and even led one to experiment with her look.
Shepard shared, “She requested a specific haircut a few days ago, and now I want to match her.”
In the two-minute video, the actor can be seen with his hair clipped to one side to allow the hair in his right side to be shaved off. Bareilles’ “Armor” served as background music for his transformation.
The “Parenthood” actor later revealed his new look:
Shepard has two daughters with wife Kirsten Bell, 7-year-old Lincoln and 5-year-old Delta. The parents did not share which daughter had the undercut, though.
Bell gushed about her husband’s gesture and reposted his video with the caption, “I love this man so much. He wanted to twin with our daughter.”
It even got to Bareilles herself! She responded, “Yassssss. What a good daddy move. #handmemyhaircut.”
“This is the best best best. Thank you for being a kick a– dad for strong young women! #handmemyhaircut,” the “Waitress” star added in her comment.
