Mangold joined the Jets as a first-round draft pick in 2006 from Ohio State and earned his place in the Jets’ ring of honor in 2022 after a remarkable career.

“Nick was more than a legendary center,” said Jets owner Woody Johnson. “He was the heartbeat of our offensive line for a decade and a beloved teammate whose leadership and toughness defined an era of Jets football.
