  • Pam and Garry’s 5 children have all grown up and moved out from home.
  • But soon, their humble abode was filled again with children.
  • After Pam heard of the news about 7 siblings who lost both parents in a car crash, they decided to adopt them all!

Pam and Garry Willis’ children have all pursued their own lives and moved out from home. But their warm abode did not stay empty for long.

The couple decided to become foster parents because they never wanted to adopt. But that was before they met seven adorable siblings who stole their hearts!

Pam found out about them on Facebook in January 2019. She happened to read the story about a couple who both died in a car crash leaving their 7 children behind all by themselves.

The kids from San Diego needed a new home. But even so, they’d still most likely get separated to multiple potential adoptive families. That itself is hard to hear and bear.

Since their five children have all grown up, Pam and Garry decided to take the 7 kids home!

“I saw how much these kids needed someone to love them because they had no one else to go to,” Pam told Metro. “I called the adoption service every week to show them how much I wanted to help these children.”

In June, Pam and Garry took the kids — Xander, 4, Leo, 5, Aubriella, 6, Anthony, 7, Aleecia, 8, Ruby, 13, and Adelino, 15 — home for the first time.

It may be true that adjusting to a new environment is hard, but the siblings felt at home instantly. They also had a fun time bonding at the Disneyland Resort.

But of course, nothing beats the day they officially became part of the Willis’ family! And the best part is, their new official grown-up siblings love them as much as their new parents do. They even went home to celebrate with them for the successful adoption.

It really is challenging to care for many kids but Pam and Garry have no regrets!

“We have never looked back since the day we met them and never doubted what we’re doing is the right thing to do,” Pam said. “I have noticed how incredibly happy they are and that makes me so happy too, because that’s all we ask for. The oldest of the seven, Adelino, said to me recently, ‘Thank you for giving us this life,’ and there is no other feeling like that.”

What beautiful souls are they! We hope that more families are like them and that no kids should ever sleep on the streets!
