- Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski and the viral Savannah Bananas baseball team join the campaign to spread awareness and joy
- Simple act of enjoying ice cream helps provide hope, medical care, and support to sick kids and their families nationwide
Dairy Queen believes in giving back to the community, particularly when it comes to kids. Each year, Dairy Queen hosts Miracle Treat Day to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.
This year, the event will take place on July 30, 2026, at participating DQ locations. Olympic figure skater Tara Lipinski and the Savannah Bananas are in on the fun.
“I’m honored to partner with Dairy Queen for Miracle Treat Day and help shine a light on the incredible work happening at children’s hospitals across the country,” Tara Lipinski shared.
“It’s amazing that something as simple as enjoying a Blizzard Treat can help provide hope and support to kids and their families. I hope everyone joins me on July 30 to make every Blizzard Treat count.”
“The Savannah Bananas are all about creating smiles, and Miracle Treat Day is another great way to bring joy and hope to families who need it most,” right fielder Reese Alexiades added.
This year, participating Dairy Queen locations will donate at least $1 from the purchase of every Blizzard on Miracle Treat Day. It’s a simple way for families to make a meaningful difference while enjoying a beloved frozen treat together.
The Children’s Miracle Network supports children’s hospitals across North America, providing critical funding for medical equipment, research, and family support services. Every dollar raised helps ensure kids receive the life-saving care they need.
“Every year, Miracle Treat Day demonstrates the incredible impact that can happen when our communities come together for a sweet cause,” Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing at American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), shared.
“Year after year, our fans, franchisees and partners show up to support Children’s Miracle Network to help ensure kids and families receive the care and hope they deserve. We’re grateful to have Tara Lipinski and the Savannah Bananas helping us spread the word about Miracle Treat Day and encourage fans across the country to enjoy a Blizzard Treat while making a meaningful difference for local children’s hospitals.”
Mark your calendars for July 30, 2026, and visit your local participating Dairy Queen to turn your ice cream craving into a miracle for a child in need.
