Quick Smiles:
- Braving -11°F cold, 25-year-old Bruce Armah found a snow-buried wallet on his mail route in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.
- Inspired by his father’s kindness, he drove 52 miles after work to reunite it with the owner in McDonald.
- Containing $100 cash and cards, the wallet was returned with no reward sought, earning boss’s praise.
In icy -11°F weather near Pittsburgh, dedicated mail carrier Bruce Armah discovered a wallet half-buried in snow during his delivery route.
Finishing his shift, he checked for ID and set out to return it personally.
“It was my father’s good deeds,” Armah shared. “He lost his wallet, and someone returned it to him, so I was just returning the favor.”
The round trip spanned 52 miles to the owner’s new home, where the wallet held $100 cash, credit cards, ID, and healthcare cards untouched.
“He wanted nothing in return; he just said it was the right thing to do,” said Matt Bryan, husband of the owner.
The heartfelt gesture spread through the postal team, prompting a commendation from his supervisor.
Stories like Bruce’s remind us how simple acts of integrity brighten the world—let’s spread more kindness today!
