A dog owner named Imogen, a 23-year-old student from Greater Manchester, England, recently tried to capture a sweet moment with her boxer puppy, Lennox.

However, things took an unexpected turn when Lennox saw his reflection in the phone camera for the first time.

Imogen shared the amusing clip on her TikTok account @imo_bailey, where it quickly went viral.

“Boxers always have the best personality and I knew people online would love that and relate to it as well,” she said.

The video, posted on August 15, shows Lennox playing with his toy before suddenly noticing another “dog” staring back at him from the phone screen.

Without hesitation, Lennox pounced at the phone, barking and growling at the unfamiliar puppy.

He even looked up at Imogen for reassurance as he bravely tried to protect her from the mysterious intruder.

A second, longer video posted the next day shows Lennox eventually calming down after Imogen ordered him to sit and reassured him with gentle pats while she turned off the camera.

The viral video has garnered over 89,000 likes and countless adoring comments from animal lovers.

“There isn’t a better dog than a boxer,” one commenter wrote.

Another added, “Beautiful little baby,” while someone else pointed out “his wrinkles.”

“Absolutely crackers. I need his energy!” another user laughed.

Imogen, who only provided her first name, shared that Lennox is the first dog she and her partner have together.

From the moment they got him at 8 weeks old, he “already had a bouncy personality.”

Interestingly, she added, “from his brothers and sisters, he was the calmest, believe it or not!”

Boxers are described by the American Kennel Club (AKC) as active, bright, and fun-loving dogs.

They are also known to be excellent with young children, making them a popular choice for families.

In 2023, they ranked 18th on the AKC’s list of the most popular dog breeds.
