Bunny Who Becomes Viral for Cuddling His Mom’s Pregnant Tummy Is Now a Big Brother [Video]

Meet Miffy. The popular bunny of New York City who has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok.

The five-year-old bunny has already modeled for big brands, and has even been cast in a movie fittingly titled “Bunny.”

Miffy is used to being his mom’s apple of the eye. But all of that would change when his mom, Sami Chen, became pregnant with her first child.

Sami was nervous at first because she was not sure how Miffy would feel when the baby comes out. But the bunny started to show signs that he would not mind sharing the attention.

“When he found out that I was pregnant he would lay by my belly and cuddle with me,” Sami said. “When I first got him, he wasn’t really cuddly but what really made us closer was my pregnancy.”

Aside from being more snuggly, the sweet bunny also acted more protective of Sami.

“He would stay with me,” she explained. “He would check on me. He would be by the bedroom door, just waiting for me to wake up.”

As Sami’s tummy begin to grow, Miffy increasingly took an interest in her tummy. Sami would talk to him about the baby inside her tummy, asking the bunny if he was excited to meet his baby brother. Miffy would place his ears to Sami’s tummy to listen to the baby’s heartbeat.

All the signs are pointing to the positive. Then, the big day finally arrived.

The introduction was not immediate. But when they finally meet, it was truly heartwarming, said Sami.

“I was really worried that maybe Miffy would get jealous, but on the second morning Miffy jumped next to the baby,” Sami shared. “He sniffs the baby really, really gently. I pet him and tell him that, ‘Miffy, you did a really good job!’”

From then on, Miffy and baby Skye have grown closer. Many of their adorable interactions can be found on Miffy’s social media pages — Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and an online shop called The Happy Fish.

“They play together. They eat together. They cuddle together,” their mom said. “They love each other like brother and brother.”

Miffy is also called a “fashion icon” by his followers. This adorable bunny also loves traveling in style. And now, he has his baby brother so globe-trotting would be more exciting for the whole family.
