Cat and Dad’s Daily Stretch Is The Cutest Routine [Video]

Sydney Honeycutt, Daisy’s mom said, “Ever since Daisy was little, we noticed that she would always reach for the sky when you pick her up.” Of course, we thought this was adorable!”

But after seeing TikTok posts about helping cats stretch by lifting them by pushing underneath their arm, Daisy’s dad Callen decided to try it when Daisy would raise her paws.

At first Dad Callen thought that it could be cute and fun to try. But based on Daisy’s delight in the routine, she is more than loving it.   

So, now aside from snuggling with her dad whenever he’s around and following him wherever he goes in the house, they have added the stretch into their daily bonding.

At the end of the day whenever her dad comes home from work, Daisy would be waiting in a chair closest to the door for her Dad to help her stretch. Her excitement upon seeing her dad is so visible and her Dad is more than happy and willing to grant Daisy’s request.

Honeycutt said, “It’s always followed by a ‘Ooooh big stretch’ from either Callen or I. Daisy does get excited for it! She anticipates it any time Callen walks in the door.” 

And there is no stopping Daisy from having her daily stretching routine with Dad.  For if her dad forgets, she does not let her Dad get away with it.  She does not get mad but she will instead be at her Dad’s feet, side, back, until she is lifted and stretched.  Talk about having a shadow.

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, in Daisy and her Dad Callen’s case, it is a stretch a day keeps Daisy happy and gay.
