Cat Bakes Delicious Cakes As Sweet As Her Name — Honey! [Video]

• A rescued kitty named Honey has been delighting viewers with her videos of her mom baking delicious treats.
• Honey helps her mom measure, mix and decorate the cakes that they have been baking.
• All that Honey is allowed to handle have been checked by her mom to make sure that it is cat-safe.

Nicole Wade lost an adopted kitten named Maple in 2019 to panleukopenia.  When they went to the shelter to get Maple’s memorial paw prints, they fell in love with another kitten and adopted her.

The kitten was named Princess Honeybelle or Honey for short.  When Honey was around 6 months old, she jumped on her mom’s shoulders to check what she was doing in the kitchen.

Wade says, “She was very interested in everything and loved hanging out on the counter and inspecting all the ingredients.”

It is no secret that cats love to loaf and knead.  Honey just puts her skills and talent to good use by helping out her mom in the kitchen.  And from there, Honey has become her mom’s sous-chef.

The adorable duo’s videos have gone viral. Honey first started with a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and now shares recipes every week from mini blueberry pies to peanut butter cookies to berry ice cream.

And the cute assistant dresses for the part with a tiny, cat-sized chef’s hat and an oversized bow.  She is in charge of measuring, mixing, and decorating the delicious desserts.  But her mom makes sure that all that Honey gets to taste and handle is safe for cats.

Honey also gets to eat all the “cat-safe” cakes but in moderation. Her mom doesn’t want her to have all that sugar as it’s bad for her.

The good news for all their followers is that Wade and Honey are working on their first cookbook! The book will have all the ingredients and detailed step-by-step instructions for the recipes they have been baking and sharing.
