The Law of the Jungle is “survival of the fittest,” as we all know, but the Law of the Suburbs is “finders keepers.” BC the cat takes the law extremely seriously, and his owner, TikTok user AmayaSO, realized it when the cat brought home a puppy.

AmayaSO initially thought it was a huge rat because BC was carrying it in his mouth. 

However, as shown in the brief video, which has been viewed 2.7 million times, BC brought home a little brown and white puppy for the family. Based on the way he rubs up against the befuddled puppy, BC is determined to keep the pup, who appears to be a Chihuahua or Chihuahua mix.

AmayaSO claims the puppy’s origins are no longer a mystery in a follow-up video posted the next day. He actually belongs to AmayaSO’s niece, making the puppy an official family member.

In the second video, the puppy, now named Peco, is doing his own business on a small area of gravel when BC leaps from the shadows and pounces on the unwitting pup, giving him a big embrace.

Peco now belongs to the entire family, according to AmayaSO, who uploaded a third video on March 3 showing the tiny pup admiring the hens and goats at her farm. He’s a sweet little boy who is adored by at least two families, as well as one particularly bold cat.
