Brave Cat ‘Defends’ Dog Sibling From ‘Bully’ Dog [Video]

• Butter is a sweet cat but he doesn’t like ‘bullying’ specially when his dog sibling Mochi is the victim.
• When their owner Pedro Teles took Mochi outside, a dog saw him and started barking at him.
• Butter, who was lounging outside, saw the incident and immediately stepped in and lunged at the ‘bully.’

Meet Butter. A sweet cat with an outgoing personality. He is pretty chill, easygoing and very friendly. His best friend is his dog sibling, Mochi.

Butter doesn’t like a bully, said their owner Pedro Teles.

The other morning, Pedro’s dad took Mochi out to do his business. It was a rather peaceful morning.

Butter was lounging outside when a man walking his dog appeared. A little scene erupted.

“[The man’s] dog took notice of Mochi and started barking,” Pedro told The Dodo. “My cat probably saw this and thought something was going down.”

Little Mochi got scared. But Pedro said the other dog may have just been wanting to play.

Enter Butter. He wasn’t taking any chances.

Butter may have misread the situation and like the boss that he is, he lunged at the bigger dog. Thankfully, the stranger’s dog wasn’t injured. The ‘bully’ had just been put in his place. The dog’s owner didn’t complain.

“My dad apologized,” Pedro said. “The man wasn’t upset, but instead surprised and in awe [of what Butter did].”

Butter had only shown he will defend his brother anytime.

“My dad says that Mochi was wagging his tail as soon as they got back inside. I think Mochi appreciates what Butter did there,” Pedro said. “Butter was promptly given treats after his courageous act.”
