Cat keeps sending cryptic messages to mom’s coworkers [Video]

• Buffy would end up typing a long string of gibberish and then send it to her mom’s coworkers.

Buffy loves attention, but only when she asks for it.

While she would duck and sit far away when someone tries to pet her, the sweet and loving cat makes it known when she wants to be affectionate.

Unfortunately, that usually happens while her mom is working.

Buffy’s mom, Kate, said that the sweet cat would usually keep her company at her desk for about 10 minutes daily.

Sometimes, that will be enough for her, “but sometimes, she will jump up on my desk and either walk across or sit on my laptop keyboard.”

Kate added, “I often have Microsoft Teams open for work, so she will end up typing a long string of gibberish and then accidentally step on the ‘enter’ key, which sends the nonsensical message off to my coworkers.”

Those messages are a very important part of Buffy’s job as her mom’s coworker. Fortunately, Kate’s colleagues enjoy the messages, too.

Kate said that her coworkers have found the gibberish messages “amusing.”

They would always respond with a laugh, or sometimes even send Buffy their own nonsensical messages.

There is probably a way to keep Buffy away from Kate’s laptop to prevent any more accidental typing.

But for now, it’s not affecting anyone negatively, and can even be a ray of sunshine at times.

“It’s funny and it brings a smile to my coworkers’ faces. As long as she is not messing with actual work, it’s harmless fun and could be a turning point in someone’s day,” Kate shared. “I know if one of my coworkers’ cats sent me a message, I’d find it adorable.”

Buffy may just win employee of the month.
