Cat loves going on rides on horse bff [Video]

• Morris the cat and Champy the horse has been best friends from the moment they met each other.
• Ever since Morris discovered that he can jump onto Champy’s back, they have been going on rides together.
• They love spending time together for several other activities, too, such as drinking water and grooming.

A friendship between a cat and a horse may seem unlikely, but Morris the cat and Champy the horse make it seem natural. Morris even loves riding on Champy’s back!

Their mom, Jennifer Boyle, adopted Morris from the shelter back in January 2013.

Jennifer wasn’t even sure if Morris would be an outdoor cat. But when Morris explored the front porch and first met her horse, Champy, they instantly bonded. They have been inseparable BFFs ever since!

Morris quickly learned how to jump on Champy’s back, and the sweet horse didn’t mind.

Jennifer thought it would happen just that one time and even found it funny. But it happened again and again until it became a regular occurrence.

Soon, their rides together became “a big part of their friendship and something that stuck around for the last nine years,” Jennifer shared. “There’s just this incredible connection between them.”

Jennifer added, “I think over the years Morris has actually clocked up more riding hours than I have.”

Morris and Champy do a lot of other activities together aside from their main activity of riding. They drink together and groom each other — despite having friends of the same species.

Jennifer has been sharing photos and videos capturing the pair’s lovely friendship, and it’s been bringing joy to people all over the globe. Their bond is truly a sight to see.
