  • Ziggy the cat has been going to her human siblings’ school every day ever since he followed them there.
  • The cat has been a fixture at the school and when school portrait day came, he just jumped in and posed for a photo.
  • His mom got a pleasant surprise when she got not just her daughter’s portraits but Ziggy’s, too!

One day, Ziggy the cat followed her siblings Megan and Chloe to Drury Primary School in Buckley, Flintshire.  Ever since, he has been strolling the halls, going to class and even found sleeping on the headmaster’s desk.

Mark Biltcliffe, the head teacher said that it’s “impossible” to keep the pet off the school grounds and students can follow Ziggy’s attendance record.  He is there every day and thinks he is a pupil, too.

That is why when Emma Roberts received her daughters’ school portraits, out came Ziggy’s too!  It was such a surprise.  She proudly posted it on Facebook with the caption: “School photo day. Naturally this should include every pupil…..”

Roberts said she was just expecting her daughters’ portraits but getting Ziggy’s made her break “in floods of laughter“. She added, “So were the other mums standing by me.”

According to Roberts, Chloe told her that when it was time for the school photo session, Ziggy “just jumped on the chair. He didn’t need any encouragement, he just got up there for a photo. The school has just accepted him and he goes there at any opportunity. He’s there every day.”

Biltcliffe even plans on putting it up on the staff’s noticeboard.

And Roberts?  She’s going to frame Chloe and Megan’s photos and Ziggy’s and put them on their mantle.

You are so dapper, Ziggy!
