Celebrity Ambassadors will Host Virtual GO Gala for COVID-19 Relief Effort

  • GO Campaign’s 14th Annual Gala on Oct. 24 will be hosted by celebrity ambassadors Robert Pattinson, Lily Collins, and Ewan McGregor.
  • The virtual, free event will also feature musical performances from HAIM, Judith Hill, Katharine McPhee, and David Foster.
  • All funds raised at the gala will be directed to ongoing efforts for COVID-19 relief worldwide and racial justice in the U.S.

Celebrity ambassadors Robert Pattinson, Lily Collins, and Ewan McGregor are set to host GO Campaign‘s 14th Annual Gala on Oct. 24, PEOPLE reported.

The star-studded virtual event will showcase musical performances from Katharine McPhee and David Foster, HAIM, Judith Hill, McGregor and his girlfriend Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and McGregor’s daughter’s band French Thyme.

Special celebrity appearances will also include It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia​’s Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney.

GO Campaign will direct all funds raised at the gala to ongoing efforts for COVID-19 relief worldwide and racial justice in the U.S.

It is part of GO Campaign’s mission to raise awareness and funds to help orphans and vulnerable children worldwide. The nonprofit has granted more than $176,000 in emergency relief to grassroots organizations since the beginning of the pandemic.

Pattinson said, “I’m grateful that we can still come together virtually and now globally to help raise funds for GO Campaign and its mission to support families and children worldwide.”

The program will also feature special prizes and raffle items that will be awarded to viewers by celebrity guests.

McGregor remarked, “In this time when we are restricted in our travel, it’s fantastic that GO Campaign still allows us to make meaningful impact around the world. GO gives us the opportunity to connect with communities far and wide and remind us that we are all part of a bigger, global family.”

Collins added, “We have the power and platform to make really impactful changes to so many people’s lives. I love supporting the GO Campaign and am excited about helping children and families in all these communities.
