Collie and cat bestie are always twinning [Video]

Most twins have no choice but to get dressed up in similar outfits growing up, which is how the word “twinning” came to be a term for matching outfits.

These twins are not related by blood and not even from the same species, but they very much enjoy looking identical.

Wang Keai the border collie and lookalike cat Wang Yimi have nearly identical fur patterns, and they seem to love that! They have become BFFs who love spending time together as they perfect twinning through life.

The friends live in China and met when Yimi was living as a stray. When Yimi fell ill, Keai’s owner took him in.

As Yimi slowly recovered, he settled in and became used to his new home. He and Keai also became the best of friends!

The lovely pair have been together for at least a year now, but their adorable video has recently reappeared.

Cats and dogs are often portrayed as sworn enemies. But according to Pet Health and Behavior Editor Jenna Stregowski of Daily Paws, they can easily become the best of friends, just like Keai and Yimi.

She advises pet parents to carefully introduce them by “allowing each pet to smell something with the other pet’s scent, like a blanket, toy, or bed.”

When they meet in person, Jenna advises keeping close watch on the dog, since an injury can more likely be caused by a dog. She adds, “Give the dog cues like sit, stay, down, filled with reward and praise. Let the cat do what she’s comfortable with: exploring, hiding, leaving. Make sure the cat has an easy exit to a place out of reach of the dog.”

Keai and Yimi are just one of the most adorable examples of twinning!
