Heartwarming CCTV footage shows a young girl sinking knee-deep into wet sand at Three Shells Lagoon in Essex, England, at 5:20 pm.

Her mom rushed to help but sank waist-deep nearby, prompting shouts for aid from the frightened duo last Tuesday.

Four heroes from nearby Adventure Island theme park sprang into action, using a long rope to first pull the daughter to safety and then carefully extract the mother.

A spokesperson for Adventure Island shared on Facebook that wet sand placed by the local council and incoming tide caused the mishap.

“Thankfully this happened while our team were still on site at the end of the day, allowing staff to step in when it mattered most.”

“He immediately alerted members of our workshop team, who quickly brought ropes to secure around them and carefully pull them to safety. Drawing on their training and expertise, the team acted quickly and calmly to rescue them.”
