Pimento’s antics have captured the hearts of millions, with the video amassing over 2.1 million views.

In the video, Pimento can be seen rushing to alert his owner that April, the cat, has once again leaped onto the forbidden kitchen counter.

The TikTok post, shared by user @hellopimento, humorously describes the scenario with the caption: “My dog noticed I yell at my cat every time she gets on the kitchen counter, so now he tattles on her.”

Pimento’s owner has affectionately dubbed him “security” due to his vigilant behavior.

In a playful follow-up comment, the owner shared, “I have been referring to him as security ever since. I can now tell the cat ‘security’s coming for you,’ and he’ll come running in from the other room.”

The video sparked a wave of laughter and camaraderie among animal lovers, who couldn’t help but share their own stories.

One commenter, Liz, mentioned, “My corgi does the same thing. I call him the house snitch.”

Another user, Magnolia Thunder, chimed in with, “Our corgi does this stuff too. We call her Paw Patrol.”

Interestingly, this behavior isn’t exclusive to corgis.

A user named v.veckenschtein recounted, “My husky does this any time my cat scratches anything. She just goes over and barks until he stops, then she comes over and we tell her ‘good girl’ and give her pets.”

Such tales of pets acting as little tattletales are not new.

In another instance, a cane corso named Dougie became famous for waking his owner to inform her about another dog’s cookie theft.

Even more amusingly, a dog once tattled on his human during a walk, revealing a penchant for pub visits.

The video of Pimento has clearly struck a chord, resonating with pet owners who recognize this charming behavior.
