  • The 10-year-old was surprised when Dave accepted the challenge and graciously accepted defeat when Nandi was declared the winner.

Ten-year-old Nandi Bushell is not just good at drumming, she’s excellent at it. Knowing her strength, she challenged Foo Fighter’s main man Dave Grohl into a drumming battle last month.

Nandi is from Ipswich, England. She has built up a following on social media with her thumping renditions of pop, rock and hip-hop classics, jamming with music legends and in TV commercial appearances.

Now, her star appears set to soar even higher.

After Nandi challenged Dave Grohl, he accepted the drum-off.  Dave is not just a good singer but he is also a good drummer. He was the drummer of the legendary rock band, Nirvana.

Unfortunately, Nirvana disbanded after Kurt Cobain died in 1994.

Dave and Nandi engaged in a drum battle over the track “Dead End Friends,” by Dave’s supergroup Them Crooked Vultures.

On Thursday, Dave announced that Nandi Bushell is the winner. How gracious!
