  • Two police officers were passing through Heidelberg West, Australia when they saw a dog riding a tiny car by himself.
  • And it looks like he was driving it around so the officers stopped to check him out.
  • As it turns out, Buddy, as the dog is named, is a senior dog who has already lost his sight and hearing and now uses a car, controlled remotely by his owner, so he could still enjoy the fresh air outside just like the way he used to in his younger years.

The other day, Two local police officers were passing through a street in Heidelberg West, Australia when they spotted something that is quite out of the ordinary.

What they saw is a tiny car being maneuvered by a hairy pup!

We couldn’t believe our eyes. Of course, we had to stop and check it out,” Officer Lynda Giblett told the Herald Sun.

The little furry driver was apprehended for his offense:

“Caught driving under the influence of cuteness,” the police department wrote on their Facebook post.

Obviously, the pup was not driving the car by himself. His owner was controlling the car remotely close to him. Of course, there is certainly a valid explanation of why the adorable furry friend was driving a car outside without a license at all.

Buddy, as the adorable pup is named, is a senior dog in his prime years who has already lost his hearing and his sight. Just so he could still enjoy the fresh air outside like the way he used to when he was younger, his owner decided to buy him the little car he can use whenever they want to stroll out.

Only this time, Buddy is doing it with class.

Apparently, the two officers let go of Buddy this time with just a warning—to stay cute and adorable always.

“It absolutely made our day,” officer Giblett said.
