Owner Mariyam Jazeela witnessed the poignant bond between Ollu and Sky, a ringneck parrot who had been her close friend for over a year.

Despite the difficult loss, Jazeela reported that the tiny bird is beginning to find comfort in a new friendship.

Ollu has gradually started to bond with another feathered companion living at their home in Maafushi.
