Have you ever been so full but sleepy that you find yourself nodding off at the dinner table? 

The Holidays must have set off an eating frenzy with all the goodies laid out on the table.  Social media certainly was witness to children and adults alike who fell asleep while holding on to their forks or spoons and most probably, a kid with food in their mouth but asleep on the chair.

And so when TikTok user @virginiajacques posted a video of her Golden Retriever dozing off with some food still in his mouth, a lot of viewers related!

@brenbreez wrote, “One can never be sure when hunger pops in.” LOL!  He was just making sure that when he wakes up, he would not have to look for food! @user623655152 agreed, “I mean who wouldn’t nap with a piece of bread for snacks later.”

All the food at the table would taste even better when eaten with bread.  He just had to stock it.

@frogalicious82’s comment of “Me at Olive Garden with breadsticks,” reminded us of our love for sneaking out breadsticks from that restaurant.
