Dog Eats Mom’s Brand New Lipstick

• When Farrah Smith Weiss left her brand new lipstick on the kitchen counter, she never imagined that her pets would contribute to its demise.
• She guessed that their cat Dolly Rose swatted it of her spot on the counter, after which it rolled onto the ground and caught the attention of their curious dog, Murphy.
• Murphy was soon given away by his brightly pink maw — he had eaten the poor lipstick!

Dogs can eat the most unusual things. Apparently a lot of moms have encountered the same problem: their dog eating their brand new lipstick!

Farrah Smith Weiss had the same experience when she placed her new lipstick on the kitchen counter and later forgot about it. She certainly never imagined that her pets would contribute to her makeup’s loss.

Farrah guessed that their cat Dolly Rose may have swatted the lipstick off the kitchen counter, which she has declared to be her territory.

Their curious dog, Murphy, may then have stumbled upon the lipstick and immediately thought it was food.

Farrah shared, “If it’s on the ground, he assumes it’s edible. This week it was a pack of gum and my son’s retainer.” 

Farrah soon noticed something off about Murphy when he walked through the kitchen — his back paws were pink!

“Then he turned around. That’s when we saw his face,” she said. “Murphy was clueless that he had done anything wrong.”

But his face and fur revealed his mistake. His brightly pink maw certainly looked hilarious!

“We then found the corpse of the lipstick in his gray, now pink, dog bed That’s when my husband snapped the picture of his face. There was nothing to do but laugh hysterically because well 2020. The damage was done,” Farrah said.

Farrah may be mourning over her lost lipstick, but Murphy’s curiosity and mischief certainly gave them lots of laughs.

Perhaps next time they’ll be more careful leaving stuff around. After all, pets have their claim on everything!
