Dog Has Over-The-Top Reaction To Grandparents Coming For Christmas [Video]

  • A TikTok video of Olive the Boston Terrier’s excitement over his grandparents’ coming has the internet abuzz.
  • Olive is shaking and screaming as loud as he can at the prospect of seeing the grandparents.
  • Commenters agree with the obvious excitement but one could not help but ask why our pets react that way to grandparents.

We have seen the wagging of the tails and crying of our dogs when we come home or when we see them after a long time.  Even a return from a short trip to the grocery is a cause for jubilation.  But there is something about the holidays that make them even more special.  And for pups who love their grandparents, having them stay at your house is the top!

There is more loving to look forward to!

And Olive the Boston Terrier’s over-the-top excitement even just at the question of who’s coming is the sweetest thing.

Look how Olive cannot contain her delight at having her grandparents in this video at @olive.and.gus on TikTok! The caption says it clearly: The anticipation…

Olive is screaming as much as her small voice can muster! Leaving @murraybrandy4 to comment: “tell grandma and grandpa to hurry up before little one self-destructs.” It sure looks like the pup will have a seizure! Her shaking is leading to it!

@kimberly_wil said, “I love the Boston excitement.” And we all agree!  Olive is so cute! @bossladyhl agrees as she wrote, “Aweee little gremlin grumbles. Ours do this every day when dad gets home.”

Now we’re looking for a video on how Olive reacts when Dad or mom gets home…

But @jayminatalie asks, “Why are dogs like this with grandparents?” LOL!  Maybe because grandparents spoil their grandkids silly?

We hope the grandparents shower you with treats and more love, Olive!
