Stormy Rose Bruce was sent a text message that had improved her mood all day. The text message came from a number she did not recognize, and it was apparently sent by accident.

She did not expect that the text message she received would brighten up her day when she opened it, but it did. Somebody has accidentally sent her number a picture of a dog hanging out in the dryer.

“I was thoroughly excited,” Bruce told The Dodo. “It’s not every day you get such a beautiful wrong text.”

The sender sent her sorry as soon as she realized that the text message was sent to the wrong number, but Bruce assured the sender that there was no harm done, and that, if they like, they could send more pictures of Lyla the dog anytime. She even called it the best wrong number text ever.

“It was an extremely welcome smile,” Bruce said. “Animals are the way to my heart, as I always say.”

The wrong number text turned into an introduction of their dog, and an opportunity to share more pictures of Lyla.

Bruce could not have been happier about the photos sent her way.

The text exchange between the two eventually ended, but hopefully, more pictures of Lyla the dog will be sent to Bruce to brighten up her day in the future.
