This doggie school bus driver has the perfect job [Video]

A man from a family of bakers wanted to have the best job he could have: working with dogs. And so, he turned his car into a ‘doggie school bus’ and made it happen.

Arat Montoya grew up in Mexico and later moved to West Linn, Oregon.

He told Oregon Live, “My family are bakers, and my dad wanted me to be a baker. I said, ‘I’m sorry Dad, I love dogs.’”

He started working with dogs at a doggie daycare in Linn, but it went out of business. Having kept in contact with some of the dog parents, he started walking dogs, pet-sitting, and eventually boarding out of his own house. He took it to the next level when his wife was expecting their first child.

Arat turned his yellow car into a miniature doggie school bus!

Arat simply parked the car at the end of his driveway to advertise. He gained 16 customers within a week!

His doggie school bus now operates five days a week, picking up an average of 20 dogs per day. For $30 a day, dogs can be picked up and dropped off within a 5-mile radius of the daycare facility. The dogs can happily play in a 5-acre fenced-in yard all day.

Sometimes he even gets up to 35 canine customers a day!

With the doggie school business booming, Arat was able to purchase a larger vehicle.

Eventually, he was able to get an actual bus!

Back in 2017, one of his customers took a video of their dog getting overwhelmed with excitement when the school bus arrived. Take a look at Rudy bolt in and out of the house and into the bus!

The viral video increased Arat’s client base to around 300 happy dogs!

Working with dogs every day has made Arat “the happiest man in the world.”

Arat really does have the perfect job. As he enriches his canine customers’ lives, he also experiences utter joy every day he’s with them.
