Dogs Stay Beside Owner inside Ambulance

• When paramedics arrived to assist a man who had a seizure, they found two dogs with him.
• The dogs hopped aboard the ambulance when their owner was brought in, so the paramedics decided not separate them.
• The dogs also waited outside the hospital for their owner, who was soon reunited with them.

Two loyal dogs stayed beside their owner during a medical emergency. They even rode inside the ambulance with him and stayed outside the hospital all throughout his stay.

The paramedics in Bauru, Brazil responded to a call this week about a man in distress. They arrived to find a man on the ground, having suffered an apparent seizure.

They noticed that his two dogs, Bob and Chiara, never left his side and had no intention to do so. When they loaded the man into the ambulance, the two dogs also hopped aboard.

The responders informed their superiors about the situation, and thought that it may be better for them to stick together.

The paramedics team were concerned about what would happen to all three if they were separated, so they just decided to allow them to travel together, said the paramedics’ supervisor Patrícia Iolanda.

They then arrived at the hospital and the man was admitted. Bob and Chiara waited patiently outside the door throughout their owner’s whole stay.

After waiting for the whole night, the loyal dogs eventually reunited with their owner.

Their owner had recovered from the incident and was released the next day. His discharge felt sweeter because his two loyal dogs were there to greet him.

Bob and Chiara were certainly more than happy that they waited for him.

Paramedics have to deal with life and death situations every day, but to see scenes of love like this warms their hearts.

Patrícia shared, “If this isn’t love. I don’t know what is.”
