A four-year-old girl could be making a platinum song!
Milan Marie, four years old — probably no idea she was about to make a viral song — was just sitting in her car seat, when she started making up her own lyrics with her original tune.
“I want you to leave me alone. Leave me alone. Leave me alone,” she sang, like a passionate soulful diva.
Thanks to her mom, Jovan Phillips-Lloyd, for regularly capturing her melodic moments and sharing it on Milan’s Instagram account — people now have a quarantine anthem!
The “Leave Me Alone” song was posted on January 21 and has since then been Milan’s biggest hit so far.
Milan has instantly captured the hearts of her 378,000 followers, with her video hitting 265,000 views. Her reach even grew wider as actor Taraji P. Henson reposted the clip, giving it more than 1.1 million views.
“It’s the vibrato for me!!! SHE IS A BIG MOOD!!” Henson wrote.
Jovan shared that the quarantine has turned her daughter “into a whole different person.”
“Before, Milan was very shy. She wouldn’t speak to people, but I promise when quarantine started, she started saying hello to the neighbors and knows all their names,” Jovan said. “Everything you see on Instagram has always been her, but in public she was more reserved. Now she speaks to people and gives them a little too much information!”
With her viral fame hitting big online, Milan could make it in the music industry one day. The little girl’s career dream, though, is to “be a mom,” although previously she also told Jovan that she wants to “be funny.”
The “mini influencer” has made her mom so proud for bringing smiles to people in her own creative way. Jovan said that she will continue to share her daughter’s moments as long as Milan enjoys doing it.
“People are saying she’s a prodigy or going to be a singer, but I want people to be mindful she is still 4,” Phillips-Lloyd said. “I want her to enjoy who she is. I don’t want the world to expect her to do things. We are just going to enjoy it and take it day by day.”
