  • Milo’s family has a beautiful garden that has become a home for many butterflies.
  • When they started raising monarch butterflies, Milo loved observing them.
  • The butterflies also felt safe in the presence of the gentle pup, and often landed on his face.

Meet Milo. This sweet pup has been helping his mom out with her garden, which is home to several plants and flowers. It has since become an attraction and sanctuary for many butterflies, who have felt safe in Milo’s gentle presence.

Milo’s mom, Jen Bennett, shared, “We grow lots of food and flowers in our garden so it is a wonderland for butterflies. Two years ago we started raising monarchs, which has been so fun. Milo loves to watch all the butterflies fly around.”

Sensing Milo’s sweet and gentle nature, the butterflies have become fond of him, too. Oftentimes, they would land on him and chill there for a while.

Milo makes sure he’s incredibly gentle when they do that, so they can perch on him for as long as they wish.

Jen shared that it has become their daily morning routine to check the butterflies.

“He is always patient when they land on him. He sees their process with me, from baby caterpillars to chrysalis then to butterflies. He knows they are our friends,” she said. “He loves hanging out with the butterflies.”

Milo, who also has his own cooking show with his mom, has been very good at posing for photos.

So when his family noticed the butterflies landing on him, it was pretty easy to take countless, stunning photos of Milo and his butterfly friends.
