A swimming pool and a lot of tennis balls are key to organizing a fantastic golden retriever birthday celebration.

The outcome was three hours of water-loving goldens diving into the pool in quest of fuzzy spheres. At least, that’s what transpired during the birthday celebration of Camille Griffith’s golden retriever, Hudson. 

Griffith documented her preparations on her TikTok account last week. She bought a total of 200 balls and tossed them into the pool. The strategy was simple yet brilliant, and there is no better method to ensure your dog has fun while also exhausting him thoroughly.

Along with the water fun, the guests—mostly Hudson’s 1-year-old siblings—were treated to a dog charcuterie board and dog-friendly cake. The only thing lacking was dog beer, although those puppies are likely all underage.
