A pizza delivery driver, Gabe Botello, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, had an unexpected hero moment when he rescued a 3-year-old girl who was wandering around alone at 3 am. While delivering pizza, Gabe spotted the little girl in the cold and went back to look for her after finishing his delivery.

He eventually found her curled up between two cement blocks, wearing only a t-shirt, diaper, and socks. Gabe quickly put his sweatshirt on her, gave her some water, and called 911. The little girl was exhausted and cold, so Gabe comforted her until the police arrived and reunited her with her mother.

It was later discovered that the girl’s mother was unaware of her daughter’s absence and thought she was sleeping. Gabe is grateful he was able to help the little girl and is glad she made it home safely.
