Out of four cat siblings, Mika is the smallest, but she is also the one who stands out the most.

Her parent, Nuzair, told The Dodo, “She really likes attention, and she never stops to rest.”

One time, Nuzair was watching Disney films when Mika joined him and snuggled in front of his computer.

Thinking of testing Mika’s empathy, he decided to play “The Lion King,” particularly Mufasa’s death scene.

Nuzair shared, “I remember watching some videos on YouTube where dogs are crying during that scene.”

Mika was initially distracted by the speakers, but when she eventually settled in, Nuzair started filming her reaction.

As a tearful Simba desperately tried to wake his father up, Mika sat up straight, focused on the screen, and started pawing at Simba. It looks like she was trying to reach out to him and comfort him!

Nuzair shared that he and his mom “were really surprised to see that happen.”

“The scene is really emotional and Mika trying to comfort Simba hit real hard. I was awed but at the same time really sad to see that,” he continued.

Mika’s touching display of concern for Simba proved just how loving she is, and her dad loves her for it. Thankfully, she wasn’t affected by the movie too much and was able to nap for a long while after that.
