Bobi, a farm dog in Portugal, has achieved two Guinness World Records for being the oldest dog ever and oldest living dog. At the age of 30 years and 268 days, he has surpassed the previous record-holder, Bluey.

Bobi is a purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo, known for their intelligence, strength, and loyalty, but with an average lifespan of 12 to 14 years. Bobi’s life was nearly cut short when his owner’s parents decided to put down the litter of four puppies due to the number of animals they already had.

However, Bobi was saved when he wandered off from the litter and was hidden by his owner’s sons until his eyes opened, which prevented his parents from carrying out the act.

Despite the initial displeasure of his owners, Bobi has become an important part of the family and continues to live a happy life on their farm.
