That’s the cat’s name — “Cat”!

The half-Persian and half-Scottish Fold feline and her human mom live in Thailand. And “Cat” is taking Instagram by storm because of her rare appearance. She is a two-faced cat or a Chimera cat.

If you’re wondering what Chimeras are — they are the result of a genetic mutation that’s really rare. “A feline chimera is a cat whose cells contain two types of DNA, caused when two embryos fuse together,” according to National Geographic.

Chimerism among animals is rare, but according to Professor Leslie Lyons of the University of California, Davis, “chimeras are really not all that rare” among cats. Basepaws described a chimera cat as its own non-identical twin.

Here are some adorable facts about “Cat” according to his mom, Eve: Cat’s favorite snack is toilet paper and he likes to hunt and play with cockroaches!

Cat’s owner Eve told Bored Panda that the fluffy feline was born on August 23, 2018, and she is now 1 year and 9 months old.

Eve says she has to hide all the toilet rolls in the house because Cat loves to tear them to shreds.

“She’s a crazy cat and she loves toilet paper,” Eve said, adding that if Cat could talk, she’d tell us, “My fans, if u love me, send me toilet paper!”

What’s amazing about”Cat” is her split colored face in white and grey. “I think she looks like Harvey Dent from Batman,” Eve said with a laugh.
