Mango the Golden Retriever passed away last fall.  And his parents have taken in a new puppy named Obie.  In a TikTok video posted by @mango_thegoldenretriever, they introduce the new pup to one of Mango’s favorite spots.

The video’s text overlay reads: “Taking our new puppy to the river for the first time,”…And remembering all the memories here with the best friend we lost.” The owner continued with the caption, “One thing I’ve learned is that no two loves are the same.”

And viewers cannot help but relate to the emotional tribute and be reduced to tears.

Obbie does look like a little Mango and may exhibit behaviors like Mango. @animallover32021 added, “Aww such a sweet video. Cherish those memories and make new ones with that little puppy. Mango will always be remembered.”

Clearly, the viewers know how it is to deal with the death of a beloved pet and are encouraging Mango’s parents which @azealexander commented, “Must be a bittersweet moment. Just remember your other dog sent you this one.”

Mango’s parents may never forget him but they are learning to live with the loss and moving on with Obie.  They have created a new TikTok page for Obie @obiethegoldenretriever to chronicle Obie’s own journey.
