Little Jeffrey has been scared of swimming in the ocean until he saw how confident his big brother was.
Seeing big brother Kevin charge into the water with so much confidence inspired him to take the plunge.
Now, Jeffrey can join “the big boys” and swim with them all the time!

Meet Kevin and his little brother, Jeffrey. While Kevin is nicknamed the “Lochness Kevy” for his great love of swimming in the ocean, little Jeffrey was not quite used to it yet.

So when the time came for a beach day with fellow goldens Max and Finn, Jeffrey initially kept his distance.

Kevin and Jeffrey’s mom, Elysse Gorney, shared, “Jeffrey was a little hesitant at first to get his paws wet.” The little pup tested the waters by simply walking along the shore, but it soon became clear that he wanted to join the big boys.

Eventually, Jeffrey saw how his big brother would “charge right into the water with so much confidence,” that he was inspired to follow suit. It wasn’t long before Jeffrey finally took the plunge. Soon enough, he joined the big boys in chasing a tennis ball in the water!

“It was awesome to watch,” said Elysse.

Kevin’s confidence rubbed off on little Jeffrey!

Having overcome his fear of the ocean, Jeffrey now loves swimming with his big brother all the time.

Elysse shared how Kevin “has been such a great big brother to Jeffrey” by teaching him a lot. “Kevin has the best temperament,” she added. “He is a goofy, fun-loving boy, who just wants to share his love and smile with the world.”
