- Passersby who discovered a puppy being thrown out inside a plastic bag scooped out and brought it to a vet.
- At the vet, they found out that the 8-week-old pup had a leg deformity that made it unable to walk.
- The pup’s foster mom and the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home are working together to get the pup the needed surgery and giving him lots of love and care.
When you see plastic being thrown from a van into a garbage bin, what would you do? Acting on instincts that there was something strange about the bag, passersby discovered that inside the plastic bag was a puppy!
They were so shocked at the way the pup was treated that they immediately brought it to a vet who informed the RSPCA’s Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home for assistance.

In a press release, Haley Medlock, a staff member at the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, believed that the pup who they now call Winnie, was abandoned because of her front leg deformity. The condition rendered her unable to walk. Winnie also has had seizures that the RSPCA is investigating.
In spite of her health issues, everyone has been gushing over her happy and playful attitude.

Winnie’s foster mom, Ebony Poole, said. “She is such a fun-loving girl. She loves her playtime and will curl up on my lap for a good nap afterwards.”
But due to her condition, Winnie needs to have surgery to amputate her leg and therapy and rehabilitation after to make her adjust to being an amputee.

Poole said, “She is my biggest concern at the moment and I’m hopeful that the public will help us care for Winnie and erase the neglect she has already suffered at the tender age of just eight weeks.”
Poole, Medlock and the RSPCA’s Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home are working on Winnie’s health and condition for her to be ready for adoption.

We are sure that their love and care will help Winnie recover fully after her operation and help her find her forever home soon!

Stasha,
Only an evil person would bring up politics when a dog is treated inhumanely. You obviously aren’t educated and only care about the Devil’s Deep State and defending them when they have killed people all over the world with the Covid Kill Shot. You really don’t care about the dog. You only want to spew hate about Trump and his followers who are trying to save the USA. Leave and go back to the country you came from. You are the problem. Your comment was disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!
I totally aI agree Cinda. What does politics have to do with caring for an innocent puppy.

I had a Cocker Spaniel who got hit by a car and she ended up having two operations. The first didn’t work so the second they took the leg to her shoulder. She adapted very well and could get around fine. She lived a long and happy life.

If some people don’t care about human life, why would you expect them to car about non-human life?

What a sweet face. So hoping all goes well, and she heals fast. She will learn quickly to compensate for the loss of the leg and will make someone proud to make her their “pet”. Bless the Vet that helps her. Hope she finds a forever home quickly and lots of understanding and love. What a sweet girl.
