Touching Footage Shows Scared, Abandoned Dog Getting Rescued [Video]

• Animal rescuer Georgiana Neagu was out on the road when she spotted a little dog running toward her.
• When she got out of her car, she could see the pup trembling with fright, so she tried to soothe her until she could pet her and pick her up.
• Once inside the car and in Georgiana’s arms, the pup quickly turned into a sweet bundle of love, filled with gratitude for her savior!

This little dog was abandoned on the side of a desolate road. The poor dog had to fend for herself and was understandably scared and distrustful — until a good human earned her trust and saved her.

Animal rescuer Georgiana Neagu was driving through an empty road in Romania when she spotted the little dog running toward her vehicle.

She immediately stopped her car and slowly approached the dog. The poor pup was visibly frightened. It seemed like she was traumatized after being abandoned, and was distrustful of anyone who would approach her.

So Georgiana reached out gently and slowly, until the pup allowed her gentle touch. Georgiana gave the pup a few loving scratches on the head, picked her up, and brought her inside the vehicle — where the two enjoyed a heartwarming cuddle.

In the footage shared by Georgiana, you can see the fear in the little pup’s eyes disappear once she felt safe in her rescuer’s arms. She even gave Georgiana a few licks, as if to express her thanks! Her sweet personality shone through once again.

Georgiana shared, “When I saw her I knew I had to take her home with me. Unconditional love can heal every broken heart. She felt safe in my arms.”

Georgiana named her Paula. The sweet pup has since settled in quite well in her new surroundings.

Paula enjoys playing a lot and following her rescuer everywhere. The 11-month-old pup will be safe and cared for by Georgiana until she finds a forever family to come home to.

We may never know how she came to be left alone, but we can be sure that she has a bright future ahead of her — one that is filled with love.
