“Kids are the light of this whole world!!!!!” Cabello, 23, posted on her Instagram some moments of the virtual tour.

“We hung out with some friends at the hospital in DC yesterday — thanks @ryanfoundation for bringing smiles to these kids, who are brave and spunky warriors everyday!”

In the first video, the female singer meets a little girl who made a poster for her.

“Oh my gosh!” she exclaimed as the girl showed her the poster. “You are so cute I can’t even take it,” Cabello said.

She then told the little girl how the poster made her day and that she is sweet, beautiful, and kind.

But that’s not all, the little girl then started to dance to “Something New” by Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa which was a viral dance challenge in TikTok.

The “Havana” singer also danced along with the little girl and another patient when Mendes, 21, came to join the fun.

In another video, the couple chats with a patient resting in her bed. They also talked to another fan who asked how they get to create their songs.

“Well, usually I just write down whenever I feel any emotion — whenever I feel anything particular I like to write down notes in my phone,” Cabello said.

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation also showed a video of a fan asking questions to Cabello and was later crying as she talked to the singers themselves.

“I wish I could hug you,” Cabello said.

The foundation said in the caption that the kids were emotional seeing and talking to their idols through the video call. Seacrest also shared the video on his personal account thanking the singers for making the surprise possible.

Last month, Mendes and Cabello did a virtual concert through Instagram for the Global Citizen’s “Together at Home” series.

They also told fans what they’ve been up to while in quarantine at home just like the rest of the Americans in order to slow down the spread of the coronavirus.
