Six Planets Align for Dazzling Night Sky Show

On February 28th, stargazers around the world will be treated to a spectacular sight as Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune appear close together in the night sky.

Known as a planetary alignment, this event happens when several planets orbit along the same line and cluster in one part of the sky.

For skywatchers, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn will be visible to the naked eye, while Uranus and Neptune can be spotted with binoculars or a telescope.

The planets will be best seen about 30 minutes after sunset, looking west above the horizon, offering a breathtaking view for all.

‘If you find Venus—bright with a red glow—Mercury is quite close, up and to the right. Saturn is up and to the left, with the faintest of them all, Neptune, sitting virtually on top of the ringed world.’
