Harry, an autistic boy from Chesterfield, had trouble finding people to come to his 11th birthday party.

His mother posted about it on social media, asking for birthday cards, and received an overwhelming response – over 400 cards arrived. Some people also offered to come to the party, and about 30 children in total attended.

Harry was thrilled to have a “proper birthday” and thanked the strangers who came. His mother said the experience meant everything to Harry and received messages from others with children who have similar issues to Harry.

The kindness of strangers made Harry’s birthday one he will never forget.
