  • A man was pulling into a Burger King drive-thru when he noticed a squirrel waiting next to the drive-thru window.
  • Moments later, a hand appeared from the window, handing the squirrel a single fry.
  • It turns out that the squirrel was already a regular customer!

Sometimes, people see the strangest things while waiting in line at the drive-thru. Some see people struggling to reach out from their car window, while some see overexcited dogs climbing to the drive-thru window for their Puppuccino. One man saw a squirrel waiting at the drive-thru.

Jeff Clutch had just pulled into the drive-thru of his local Burger King when he spotted a fluffy creature next to the drive-thru window.

Jeff told The Dodo, “I noticed this very tame squirrel hanging out on the ledge next to the drive-thru window. However, I thought nothing of it.”

Jeff thought that the squirrel was just chilling there, but it turns out that the squirrel was a customer waiting in line for his order.

When he started hearing laughter from the car behind him, Jeff looked up at the drive-thru window — and saw a hand holding out a single fry. The squirrel’s order has arrived!

As the squirrel eagerly took the fry and placed it in his mouth, he was visibly excited to enjoy his snack.

He moved away from the window and further down the ledge, as if to signal others that it’s their turn in line.

“He was very comfortable with all that was happening around him,” Jeff shared.

It’s unclear whether the squirrel was waiting in line as long as everyone else or if he jumped the line. But nobody seemed to mind, and Jeff was not upset in the slightest.

Jeff had to ask the staff about the fluffy customer who came before him, and they confirmed that the squirrel was indeed a regular.
