  • Paxton is a little lamb who loves following his mom to the couch.
  • His naptime ritual is so much like a dog that he has left viewers captivated.
  • Viewers loved how he circled around to find that comfy spot before settling in and letting out a yawn.

We are all aware of the affection that pets can show humans, especially with so many photos and videos within our grasp. We’ve seen dogs and even cats snuggle up to nap beside their humans, and it’s the cutest thing ever! But have you seen a lamb behave like one?

Tammyy White of Australia shared how one of their baby lambs, named Paxton, loved jumping up to their couch to nap beside her. Watch the video and see how Paxton behaved so much liked a dog going to sleep beside his human.

How do I tell him he’s not a dog? But seriously how cute is the yawn 🥺 #foryoupage #herecomestheboy #welcome ♬ Here Comes the Boy (Theme) – 88century

As the song “Here Comes the Boy” plays in the video background, Paxton jumps up the couch, finds the perfect spot, curls up, and lets out a tiny yawn.

Tammyy wrote in the video caption, “How do I tell him he’s not a dog? But seriously how cute is the yawn?”

The video has been viewed over 7.2 million times and liked nearly 2 million times! Viewers can’t get enough of the precious Paxton. One viewer understandably wondered, “So do sheep count dogs in their sleep?”

Tammyy shared in other videos that Paxton was born on the first week of August. She told Newsweek, “Paxton was born a triplet and extremely tiny and rejected by his mother.”

The Border Leicester stud ram lamb is extra special to Tammyy’s family because he was part of the same line that her late brother started before he passed away.

Paxton lives with Tammyy and the rest of the “Gucci Gang” on land along an Australian beach.

The little lamb is still quite tiny for now, but he could grow up to between 225 and 300 pounds. We wonder if he can still fit in the couch when he becomes a big wooly sheep? Perhaps he’ll be like those big dogs who don’t know their size and still sit on people’s laps. We’ve already seen a sneak peek:
