William, a newborn human, and Teddy, a grown-up cat, are simply adorable together.

On Jan. 29, William’s parents shared with the rest of the world a video of the baby-cat duo cuddling together on their new TikTok account, @WilliamAndTeddy.

The video is only 10 seconds long, but it hits all the right spots: a peacefully dozing infant getting soft head rubs from an adult human hand, and the warmest and gentlest snuggle from a while a soft, fluffy white cat.

It’s no surprise that such a calm, pleasantly gorgeous moment of introducing a newborn and a cat has received so much attention. It’s perfect for watching three or four times in a row. And people are clearly watching: the video currently has 9.5 million views, 800,000 likes, and nearly 10,000 comments.

Teddy the cat is obviously in love with William, who is lovely.

So, in the month afterward, William’s parents have amassed quite a following on TikTok, with six more videos garnering approximately 700,000 more views and their page gaining over 34,000 followers.
