This Cat Is Obsessed With The Movie “The Aristocrats”

  • Cat mom Olivia’s favorite movie as a child was ‘The Aristocrats’.
  • When her cat Calvin got to watch it recently, it became his obsession.
  • Now the cat would prefer watching it over and over again even if he has found other animal movies to watch.

As a child, Olivia Theobald’s favorite Disney movie was the “The Aristocrats.” Just recently, she re-watched it and she noticed that her cat Calvin was enthralled with the movie.

He came out of nowhere and watched the movie in full.

“Calvin loves other cats and I think he really likes when the cats in the movie are meowing,” said Theobald.

Now, whenever Theobal would watch a different movie, Calvin would come barging and yell.  He would not stop meowing until “The Aristocrats” is the one playing. It is his favorite movie and so no other film should be shown at his home.  And he is not afraid to say so.

He has always been able to speak out his mind since the time he was adopted by Theobald at 9 months old.

Theobald said, “He is stubborn and sassy, but very affectionate and loves the company of others.”

As one proud mom, Theobald posted Calvin’s obsession with the movie.  And the cat-crazy web could not help but fall in love with Calvin.  They even sent out suggestions of other cat-animal-themed Disney movies for Theobald to experiment on how Calvin would react.

And so, Theobald tried “The Lion King,” and Calvin liked it.  “He loves videos of squirrels and birds,” she said.

From there, she found out that anything with other animals, whether animated or not, Calvin loves watching.

Theobald said, “I think he likes the sounds the best — especially meowing, which is why he likes ‘The Aristocrats.’ Whenever I watch videos of kittens or cats, he starts looking for them!”

But no matter how he loves the other videos and movies of other animals, Calvin still goes back to his first love— ‘The Aristocrats’.
