Music-Loving Pig Asks His Human Mom To Sing

• A TikTok video went viral for the adorable way a pig asks his mom to sing and the way he praises his mom’s singing.
• Merlin the pig learned how to ‘talk’ using talk buttons and he’s using them to communicate what he wants to his mom.

No one adores his mom more than Merlin the pig.  In a viral TikTok video, his mom @mina.alali is in the kitchen preparing something when the cute pet pig goes to his ‘talking’ buttons and asks her to sing for him.

Mina captioned the video: “I am literally here on earth to perform for Merlin.”

And once you get to hear Mina’s voice, you no longer wonder why Merlin is such a fan and why he repeatedly praises his mom’s singing with a ‘Yes’.  He also continuously wags his tail.    

Merlin shows how smart he is, how he loves music and how he appreciates his mom.

The constant yes was seen as “His encouragement” according to @meganjenksphoto.

@talking_tiara commented, “People don’t realize how much pigs love music,” and shared, “I named my one pig after a song so she can hear her name sung!” 

While commenters admired Mina’s beautiful voice, they also marveled at Merlin being inside the house. @Jimmythebrinks asked, “what kind of dog is it?” Mina replied with the same sarcasm with: “2023 Porsche actually.” On the other hand, the way Merlin wags his tail and uses the ‘talk’ buttons is like that of a dog’s and so @jimmythebrinks might just have a point.

But what is clear is that Merlin is uniquely smart and lovable.  And his love for his mom’s singing is simply adorable.
