Each year, runners from around the world travel to Arizona to compete in the grueling Cocodona 250. The race takes runners across the heart of Arizona in the desert heat.

Yes, Arizona is extremely hot, but it’s also beautiful. As the runners make their way through the 250-mile course, they see Black Canyon, Crown King, Prescott, Mingus, Jerome, Sedona, and Flagstaff.

Rachel Entrekin is no stranger to this race. She was the first woman to cross the finish line in 2024 and 2025.

In 2026, she wanted more, and Rachel Entrekin accomplished something no woman had ever done before. It’s both incredibly impressive and shocking all at the same time.

“Rachel didn’t just come back to Cocodona to win her third title. She came to test her limits and see what’s truly possible on this course. Her goal was to go sub-60 hours, and in doing so, she delivered one of the most dominant performances in ultrarunning history.”

Yes, you read that correctly—she ran 250 miles in Arizona in less than three days. It’s a positively incredible feat.

“Thank you Rachel! For showing us there really is nothing wrong with RUNNING LIKE A GIRL,” a fan wrote.
